We all deserve an opportunity to kick back, relax and take care of ourselves. But it can be hard with family commitments, work, maintaining a household, and all the climate activism!

The busy day-to-day can often take priority over self-care, sometimes to the point where we don't even have the capacity to nourish our bodies. In order to keep our health (both physical and mental) in check, it's important that we set aside time for ourselves and slowwwww down.

Read on for some of our favourite ways to honour our health and wellbeing while caring for the planet too including a fab shopping trip at Queen Vic Market.

Sustainable Shopping Tour at Queen Vic Market on Friday, 6th May

Proudly we've been supplying many vendors at Queen Vic Market with compostable catering ware and supplies for more than 11 years. We're huge fans of their sustainability program!

They have a fabulous shopping tour coming up that you won't want to miss. Great fun, heaps of sustainable info, and divine food and goods! Go behind the scenes and meet some of the traders embracing a sustainable philosophy, and pick up some tips about consciousness shopping. Some of the traders you’ll meet along the way include Brick Lane Brewing, Collective Closets, Hagens Organic Meats, The Epicurean, and Geloso Gelateria.

Coinciding with International Compost Awareness Week, the tour will include a look at the Market’s worm farm and a chat with a local worm expert from Wormlovers.

This two-hour guided tour will be co-hosted by the Market’s Sustainability Manager Kelly Green and it includes tastings and a free coffee voucher (please bring your re-usable coffee cup!)
