Unfortunately effective today, May 14th 2014, PayPal has decided that our company no longer meets the requirements set out within PayPal's policies. They have mandated that we no longer continue to accept payments through their system. After 7 years of history with PayPal as a business PayPal has decided that we are to be considered "High Risk".
We have been working for the last 2 days to reverse this decision, however it seems that PayPal no longer wants anything to do with SeedStuff. PayPal will not give an explanation for their decision nor will they offer us any sort of grace period for a transition.
One of the many demands from PayPal was unrestricted access to client information and client accounts to be able to log into services and audit the content which was being downloaded as well as IP's of those connecting. Please rest assured that SeedStuff.ca refused PayPal access to any client information and we beleive that simply asking for this is grounds us to cut all ties to PayPal.
All of this ultimately impacts us, as well as our customer base.
PayPal has since cancelled all subscription payments, for which many of you will receive an email informing you of this.
It seems this is the end of Paypal payments for SeedStuff. We will continue to offer great services through Credit Cards (Including Prepaid Credit Cards with Visa/Mastercard Logo), Bitcoin and Interac Email money transfers. We have posted a small guide on getting started with Bitcoin in our knowledgebase. We are also open to any other forms of payment our customers would like to see integrated as long is it continues to make sense.
Obviously this is a huge blow to our business, but we appreciate everyone's patience while we attempt to work through this. We will be extending grace periods for terminations and are here for anyone who may have further questions or concerns.
