God the King of Glory, in whose hands are the living and the dead: We give you thanks for all those who have laid down their lives in the service of our country.

Grant them your mercy and the light of your presence; give us a sense of your will and purpose, that we may understand that the work you have begun in them will be perfected through Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, in whom all strife is resolved. Amen.

Strawberry Festival

The Strawberry Festival is Zion's biggest community event and fundraiser and we will need all hands on deck! If you haven't signed up, please do so in the Parish Hall bulletin board.

We are in need for someone to run the kids' games. Please let Regina Dougherty or Maria Weaver know if you can help (or call the Parish Office for more details).

Don't forget your Raffle Tickets!

We have some great prizes this year! Please sell your tickets to your friends, family, and coworkers (they do not need to be present in order to win!).
Please solicit your favorite local restaurants, nail salons, and stores for gift certificates for raffle prizes. There's a list on the Parish Hall bulletin board of businesses who have given and who remains to be asked.

The last day to bring your donations for the Flea Market and Collectibles Rooms at Strawberry Festival is
June 5th.

We welcome your gently-used housewares, antiques, toys, books, furniture, and more! Thank you to all who have donated so far.
