It’s been a busy month for HKDC Studio. Hot on the heels of HK Design to Connect: DFA Awards Exhibition, and the barrage of breakfast meetings in May and June, HKDC Studio hosted WRAP UP, an exhibition featuring the best of Sunny Wong’s packaging designs, from July 7 to July 17. Co-hosted by HKDC and City Magazine’s Design Post, design partner of HKDC, WRAP UP is part of HK Design to Connect - a series initiated by HKDC to engage the community through the power of design.

We’re happy to announce that DIP incubatee Mim Mak, known for the unconventional cuts of her fashion label HANG, was interviewed by DBC and TVB recently. The interviews will be out later this summer.

Another DIP incubatee that is getting screen time is Derek Chan, who was interviewed by DBC. Derek founded DEMO, a contemporary menswear label, in 2012 and is definitely one to watch, especially for those want to inject their daily wardrobe with a shot of artistic spirit.
