South Saskatchewan Community Foundation
"At the time of writing, the foundation has raised nearly one million dollars. This impressive fundraising is credited to a creative approach involving a dollar-matching campaign, a 'super-connector' who helped raise $100,000, and a mission to ensure that no one is left behind in the 480 communities it serves."

"To fundraise for this emergency response fund, the community foundation is also participating in the nationwide Stay-at-Home Gala on May 2. The event will involve performances from talented community members, and will partner with a local restaurant to supply to participants with dinner."

The Government of Canada’s $350M Emergency Community Support Fund is a vital step forward in our country’s rapid response to COVID-19. We look forward to collaborating with partners, charities, and non-profit organizations via our respective networks to swiftly implement the Fund in communities from coast to coast to coast.

How community foundations continue to respond to COVID-19
