Gentle Restorative Yoga for Back Care with Grace Bowker
Friday 3rd March 

Approximately one in three of us will suffer from back pain at some point in our lives and back pain is the second most common cause of long-term sickness in the UK after stress. 
In this practical workshop we will focus on:

  • Basic anatomy of the spine with awareness of the basic movements of the spine and how yoga helps maintain this.
  • Gentle and Restorative yoga sequence for back care
  • Breath work and guided relaxation
All Levels ~ No Experience necessary
Especially tailored for back pain suffers. 


In this workshop we will be looking at the techniques and mechanics of the handstand, working to overcome our fears and learning to fly!
Wherever you are with your yoga practice this workshop is a must as the handstand can be of benefit to so many postures!

Laughter yoga with Rachael Burnett

An easy to follow Laughter Yoga session suitable for everyone and led by certified Laughter Yoga Leader Rachael Burnett. No special clothing or skills required - if you can breathe you can laugh!
The session starts with a gentle seated warm-up with yogic breathing exercises, followed by some stretching, clapping and chanting all designed to engage your childlike side and get you feeling playful!

Yoga for Cyclists with Jo Davey

This workshop will focus on yoga techniques specifically for cyclists, but is suitable for all athletes.
Yoga is the perfect complement to sport; cross training your body to build strength and flexibility, helping to avoid injury and improve recovery from training and races. The morning will start with a yoga sequence designed specifically for cyclists. 
Transformational Breath® Workshop with Angela Leake
Sunday 26th March

Transformational Breath® is arguably, one of the most powerful tools we have for personal empowerment and creating change in a joyful way. Do you want more energy, less stress, more connection to higher states of awareness? Transformational Breath teaches us about working with our own unique breath pattern to help us achieve these things and much more besides.
During this afternoon workshop you will receive help in identifying and working with your own breath pattern, coaching in using the full, connected Transformational Breath® pattern, and take-home practice you can continue to work with. The workshop will include a breath session, so that you can experience first-hand some of the benefits of this technique.
Spring Yoga Retreat Day with Grace Bowker
