NEW CLASSES!
 

We have exciting news of some brand new classes coming soon,  but starting this coming Monday a new 6pm Beginners Flow with Jo.  Open to all including, Movegb and series members.
Monday 6-7pm - Beginners Flow with Jo

Family Yoga and Mindfulness  - 11th June 3.30-4.45pm
Expect fun, laughter, yoga adventures, playful stories, yoga, dance, uplifting and relaxing music, simple mantras, breathing, mindfulness and relaxation.
In our busy schedules it’s hard to find time to actually interact with our children between school, work, clubs, laundry and parties. Families can be disconnected, this session is the perfect way to reconnect as a family within a safe and joyful group.
Find your inner child.
We hope to run more of these sessions depending on the demand.

BOOKING CLASSES/WAITLISTS/NO SHOWS
We are very grateful that so many classes, particularly early evenings, are full and often have a waitlist.   However often those classes could have accommodated more people due to no shows or late cancels. Please try to cancel your class place 12 hours before the start of class for a full refund and if this is not possible contact us and we will try to get the place covered so we can refund you.

Workshops

QiGong and the Compassionate Mind

Saturday 20th May 10am-12.30pm

This workshop provides an opportunity to learn how movement and breath unite as Mind becomes still, and how Life Force (Qi) can be experienced and directed within the body through Mindful Presence and Calm Abiding in stillness and movement.
We will learn and use the well-known 18 Movement Tai Chi QiGong Form which is suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Relaxing into the repetitive movements, the body extends and withdraws in harmony with the breath. This is a wonderful form for paying mindful attention to the flow of the body, the flow of the breath and the flow of energy (Qi).

The Breath will be linked to our experience of Be-ing within the body. Using the practice of Deep Relaxation we “breathe” into parts of the Body, using our capacity for curious attention and inner kindness to hold and heal. Each part is honoured and appreciated. Stale energy is released and bright, fresh energy flows in.

Heaven and Earth Chi Kung unites the inner realm of the body with the outer field of Creation, principally the Earth and the Sun, the field of earth and water and the sweep of the Stars. All are brought together in a series of simple movements united with breath as your relationship with the Earth and the Stars, embedded in the body, brings light and joy singing within the realm of Calm Heart and Still Mind.

We finish with a Group Healing Meditation offered for all beings. You will find that all you have done in the Workshop is directed to this one end of compassionate abiding.

Yin Yoga Workshop

An evening of yin-style yoga, which involves slower movements, longer-held postures and deep breathing, resulting in a feeling of deep nourishment and quiet.  Focusing on shoulders, chest and hips; the sequence will stimulate the energy channels of the body; enabling prana to flow freely and restoring range of movement.

Kundalini Yoga - From Stress to Vitality : Perpetual, Preventive

Sunday 11th 10am-1pm

In this workshop we will look at our basic lifestyle habits from the perspective of stress and vitality and will practice several Kundalini Yoga techniques to deeply relax and rejuvenate together.
We will discuss how to find balance in our personal, family and work lives and will look at the key habits needed to maintain vitality under stress such as: nutrition, sleep, massage, daily rhythms, exercise and weight. Stress can break our basic, inner rhythms. The brain depends on rhythms, as do our organ systems.
In this workshop we will discuss how to regulate and bring harmony to the mind and body to reconnect with the soul.
Certified in Osho Mystic Rose Meditative Therapy, Classical Yoga 200, Kundalini Yoga, Traditional Thai Yoga Massage and Sound Therapy. A member of Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association. Currently studying for an M.A in Theology.

A full day of mindfulness for people who already have some meditation experience and would like to practice their skills in a silent and focussed environment.
Practices include sitting, walking meditation, lying down body scan and slow mindful movement

5 Rhythms is a profound dynamic meditation suitable for all abilities. It is a catalyst for embodiment, creativity and healing. It couldn't be simpler, we dance ourselves free. It is about your dance so you really can't get it wrong. Funky, fun and ecstatic; this is soul food for your inner-raver and your inner-Buddha.

This workshop is an excellent introduction to 5 Rhythms and a delightful way for those with some experience to deepen their practice.

The space will be held by Christopher Boylan, an accredited teacher who has been studying 5 Rhythms intensively since 1999. He trained with Gabrielle Roth in the USA and Europe and completed his teacher training in 2008.
