Come to our June prayer service!

June 14, 5 - 6 pm at 2024 Mills.

Please come join us in welcoming our new live in volunteer, Elizabeth Coyle, into our community, and help us send off two members of our community: Hilary Wolkan, our current intern, and Andrea Bardelmeier, one of our board members.
The Rev Jane Gerdsen will preside, and dinner will follow at the Speckled Bird Cafe at 1766 Mills Ave. Bring a dish to share!

House Duty Volunteers Needed!

Want to be more involved in a hands-on way? House duty might be for you. Please check out our for Volunteer Page for more information.

We'll be having a training session on Saturday June 28, 9 am - 12 pm, at the Speckled Bird Cafe (1766 Mills Ave, Norwood) to train new house duty volunteers. Email intern@stlydiashouse.org to register.

Accepting Referrals

We are currently accepting referrals for women without children. We will open up referrals for women with children again in mid-August. If you are interested in providing a referral or know someone who could benefit from Lydia's House, please check out our website for more information.

Be a Part of the Lydia's House Family!

We're looking for a fall intern (possibly 2) to accompany us in serving homeless women and children. Our hope is to have this community member start in late August and stay at least 9 months.

Moms Mondays

Moms, come help our garden (and yard) grow at Lydia's House every Monday from 9:30 am to noon. Child care will be provided on site, and we will eat lunch together at the end. Email us at intern@stlydiashouse.org if you're planning to come.
