Please mark your calendars for Curriculum Night next Monday, September 23. There will be a 30-minute presentation in the multipurpose room with a staff introduction, a policy and procedures review, and brief presentations from both the Clyde Hill Elementary PTA and the Bellevue Schools Foundation. Information tables will be on site for the Northwest Arts Center (after school activities) and, hopefully, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts representatives. See you there!
On Wednesdays, We Show Our School Spirit!
This Wednesday, September 18th, and every following Wednesday, will be School Spirit Wednesday. Your child will receive their spirit wear t-shirt from their teachers that they can wear every week! Thank you to Ms. Homa for presenting this community building idea to us, and Thank You to the PTA for providing every student with a Clyde Hill Elementary shirt.
REMINDER - No PTA Hosted After School Activities
Due to our the ongoing work at our school, the PTA is unable to coordinate on-campus After School Activities this year with local vendors. We contacted Northwest Arts Center, and they have offered to rent space to our vendors so that our favorite after school activities have a chance to run this year. Ultimately, it is up to the vendors to decide whether or not they will rent space at the Northwest Arts Center and run their programs there. We hope to have more information from our vendors to the community soon. We have heard from Sponge Language, Chess Wizards, and TGA (tennis and golf), who are all trying to get a program in at the NWAC. In the interim, the Northwest Arts Center does offer some After School Activities and child care. Learn about their offerings here:
