We are in the last week of the Envelope Drive, and 61% of envelopes have been returned as of today! Remember that the class with the highest percentage of returned envelopes wins a prize. We have the rest of this week to get 100% of all envelopes returned. Keep it up, Cougars! 
  • $200,000 pays for Instructional Aides, Reading Specialist, arts and community events, classroom supplies, and much more. Every student benefits.
  • To hit the PTA Annual Fund goal, we need to raise $450 per student (not per family).  We ask for 100% family participation in Annual Fund giving.  We need your support. Click here to donate online!
  • GOAL: Raise the majority of the PTA Annual Fund during the Envelope Drive. 
  • All envelopes returned by October 25th are entered in a drawing for a gift card to Burgermaster, SkinSpirit, John Howie Steak, Whisk, and more! No minimum donation is required to enter the drawing.

After School Activities
**Please do not call the school to register your student for programs. Clyde Hill Elementary does not register students for after school activities.**

1. Chess Wizards will be at NWAC every Monday, from 2:35 - 3:35 p.m., starting October 7 through December 2 for the winter session. Register online (Choose SeattleMetro area, then enter school zip code 98004, then select Clyde Hill Elementary) today to secure your spot! They will continue to offer this program year-round at the Northwest Arts Center. Attached please find the flyers for their Winter and Spring sessions. 
2. The ParisAcademy Northwest would like to offer a long-term French Immersion Club every Monday, beginning Oct. 28 through May 18, 2020 but currently have an insufficient number of enrolled students. Register today! Review their flyervisit their website for more information, or use think link for registration. *Students in grades 1 - 5 are prioritized; Kindergarteners are permitted if space is available. 
3. The American Academy of  Fine Arts provides basic drawing and painting skill class for K - 5 students every Tuesday afternoon at the Northwest Arts Center. More information is available here
4. Eastside Drama Kids  is offering two separate classes on Wednesday afternoons. Please check out their flyer for more information, including class times and how to enroll. 
5. The Northwest Arts Center offers some After School Activities and child care. Learn about their offerings here:
Participating students will be picked up at the school, in the undercover area, by the after school vendor. They will walk, as a group, over to the Northwest Arts Center for their program.

Trunk or Treat at Clyde Hill Elementary! 
  • Friday, October 25th, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Clyde Hill Elementary parking lot.
  • Come dressed in Halloween costumes and trick or treat with your family and classmates.
  • Please CLICK HERE TO RSVP with the number of children attending to ensure we have enough treats!
  • Trick-or-Treaters park in the overflow/east parking lot which is accessed from NE 98th St.
  • Decorated cars and Trunk or Treat event will take place in the parking lot adjacent to the drop off loop.
If you want to register your car as a Trunk or Treat participant (you park your car, decorate, and hand out treats to kids), please use the link below. 
We Need Decorated Cars and Candy/Treat Donations! 
Oct. 25 in CHE Parking Lot
  • Car check-in begins at 6pm
  • Kids arrive at 7 pm
  • Decorated cars cannot leave until the event ends at 8 p.m. for safety.
Please volunteer to decorate your car and hand out treats or candy at the event. This truly is SO MUCH FUN.

Have You Registered for Ski Bus?
Who: Open to All Clyde Hill 2nd through 5th grade students
What: Join the Clyde Hill Ski Bus and learn how to ski or refresh your skills on the powder!
When:  Wednesdays January 8, 2020 - February 12, 2020 (six consecutive weeks finishing on February 12, unless weather forces postponement).  If a cancellation occurs, we automatically extend the program the number of trips missed.
 Where: Bus loads at Clyde Hill Elementary and goes to Summit Central Ski Area at Snoqualmie. The bus loads at school at 12:30 PM and returns at approximately 5:30 PM in the evening. Classes begin at 2:30 PM and are 2 1/2 hours long.

Enrollment is secured on a first come, first served basis, up to 40 students and registration must be accompanied with payment to secure your space. Registration deadline is Tuesday, November 19, 2019
Cost is $340.00 for 6 weeks of lessons and bus transportation. Make checks payable to SSCS.**Equipment rental and season passes are not included in cost.**

The Snow Sports program is not affiliated with or operated by the Bellevue School District, Clyde Hill Elementary or the Clyde Hill PTA. Lessons are provided by Snow Sports Consulting Service LLC (SSCS) with 36 years of teaching experience in the greater Seattle area.

Little Wolverines Girls Basketball
Grades K – 4
Dates: Saturdays: 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, 12/14, 12/28, 1/4 , 1/11, and 1/18

The Bellevue Schools Foundation’s Annual Clickathon event will be held October 22nd and 23rd. All donations over $100 made on these two days will be matched 1:1. Our goal is to raise $300,000 from parents like YOU. Public funding is not enough to fund the exceptional programming that makes Bellevue Schools the best in the Nation. Donate here or at to fund the following programs in our schools:
  • Training for 40+ additional counselors to address student stress, anxiety and depression;
  • Training for teachers to integrate cutting-edge Computer Science curriculum in every classroom;
  • Libraries in classrooms with characters and narratives that reflect our District’s global culture; and, 
  • Mentoring programs that provide one-on-one support for students in need, plus so much more!
Help the Bellevue High School Band Boosters raise money by cleaning out your closets and garage. Goodwill is bringing a truck to BHS on Saturday, October 26th to accept donations of used goods. Normally, Goodwill does not pay when you donate your stuff, but they have a special program for schools. The more trucks we can fill, the more money to support the Bellevue High Band (and you'll get a donation tax receipt).
You can bring almost everything (OLD TVs, COMPUTERS, SMALL ELECTRONICS, RIPPED CLOTHING, BROKEN TOYS, etc. - what Goodwill can’t sell to the public, they sell to scrap dealers). Please note that items CANNOT be any bigger than an end table. Additional exclusions at

Girls Scouts Try It Night - Thursday, Oct. 24 6p - 7p
If you are looking for friendships and skills that will last you a lifetime, join the Girl Scouts of Western Washington! Please attend our "Try It Out Night" THIS THURSDAY, or you can find Girl Scouts troops online in our Opportunity Catalog - our website for viewing open troops in your area. Troops in formation are in the process of gathering full rosters and/or leaders, and you can secure you daughter's place in one right now! Click here to start your registration. If you don't see anything, select "Unsure" when you register, and we will contact you about placement as soon as a troop is available.


Cub Scout Pack 600 serves West Bellevue including Medina, Clyde Hill, Sacred Heart, Woodridge and Enatai schools. Cub Scouting involves the whole family and teaches invaluable lessons that help the Cubs progress in the program and in life. We meet twice a month, and hold our meetings at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. We also host a number of events throughout the year such as educational field trips, day camps, service projects, hikes, and campouts. Bellevue Wolverines Girls Lacrosse
Please join BWGL for youth fall ball Sundays from 2:00-4:00 in October-November! We are excited to announce that we are investing in our youth program in the following ways:
  • Developing a youth coaching curriculum, all coaches will be trained on it
  • Recruited new board members to focus on the youth program
  • Recruiting a new Director of Youth Lacrosse
  • Recruiting another paid Head Coach for our 7th/8th grade teams
  • Bringing back youth fall ball, coached by our high school coaches being assisted by parent coaches and varsity players

Do you need a weekend ski school program?
Join the Saturday Bellevue Ski School Program. Give your student a full day of skiing. All levels welcome - 2nd through 12th grade. Transportation provided by Bellevue School District and Coach. Discount pricing until Nov. 30th. Support your school. Up to 5% of every enrollment goes to your schools PTSA. What a great way to fund extra school activities. Eastside Children’s Academy offers the highest caliber of support as an early childhood educational program and focuses on the needs of individual students. We provide bilingual education and daycare services for preschoolers aged 6 weeks thru pre-kindergarten and have been open since Jan 2019. W
