Since the arrival of our two supply containers from Project Cure and Samaritan's Purse our team has been tirelessly working to transform the containers into a climate controlled storage facility for the hospital. Our nurses have been sorting through supplies and designating items to donate to other facilities and organizing the items we need to keep for the Jungle Hospital.
Our construction arm has been working to join the two containers together to make one larger unit, and will custom-build shelving units to make the most of the expanded storage space. We had a small contingent of men come from lower-Alabama to help build a new roof over the two containers.
Our J-Team, Summer Missions Interns, arrived on May 21st and joined in on the container project right away. They helped install the insulation and an air conditioning unit that will ensure our supplies are protected from the scorching temperatures. We also designed and built steel shelving units to hold our supplies, and keep things easy to access at all times!
This has been a long two-year process, but we finally have a solution to our storage woes! God is good, all the time!

We also had some very important visitors drop into Rio Viejo. We want to thank Vim X Head, Jordan McCaimbridge, and Dr. Frank Bunch for serving, dreaming and planning with us to make the Jungle Hospital the best it can be!

We are happy to announce a 100% coverage rate of our Spring School Health Education visits for the first time ever! We are so proud of our jungle nurse, Tabitha Hiers, and our HHG Team, who have been dedicated to making this happen! We are well on our way to completing the second summer visit for each school, and our goal of 100% coverage for the year!
