For fun, she enjoys disc golf, photography, interior design, cycling, hiking, and traveling (she's been to six countries!).

SUMP PUMP MAINTENANCE

If your sump pump is more than 10 years old, it is time to replace it!

A new sump pump installed by a professional plumber runs about $250, which is less than your Homeowner's policy deductible.

Have a Finished Basement?  Consider a Backup Sump Pump Solution

If you have a consistent municipal water supply, a Water Powered System will probably be your best choice for a cost-effective ultra-reliable emergency sump pump.  You should always be able to protect your basement, even if the electrical power fails for an extended period.  Additionally, there is effectively no required maintenance and no battery to worry about.

Water Powered Backup Sump Pump Diagram

If you don't have a reliable municipal water supply, or if your basement configuration makes it difficult to run a water line to the backup pump location, a Battery Powered System will probably be the correct choice for you.  A battery powered system can provide excellent service.  However, there is a small amount of battery maintenance to consider, and if electrical power is lost for an extended period, it is possible to fully drain the battery and lose your protection.  Even with regular maintenance, occasional battery replacement will also be necessary (typically every 3-5 years).

Please contact a licensed plumber or our agency for a list of plumbers to help you create the right backup solution.

This simple maintenance can save you the headache of a water backup claim and is much less expensive than your Homeowner's policy deductible.

THE DUB PUB COMMITTEE

Lisha Nienhaus and her husband, Paul, at the First Annual Roll Call at the Dublin Pub on February 15th, 2016.  All local police officers were invited to attend.  The fundraiser was for the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial Fund.  All the proceeds went to assist fallen officers' families, to help when officers are injured and to provide annual scholarships to selected children.  A silent auction was held and donations were received from local businesses.  Entertainment was provided by Ethos, a Wright State a cappella group.  This was a very important cause as Lisha's husband, Paul, is the Detective Sargent with the Miami Township Police Department.  Next year, the event will be open to the public with the hopes of raising more money for this great cause.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

"After 50+ years with the same insurance agency and company, we were dropped due to two property claims in a single year.  Luckily, the Robert K. Jones Insurance Agency and Dan Biedenharn were one of the first companies we contacted for new insurance quotes.  Dan was very helpful, paying very close attention to all of our insurance needs in addition to being very price/value conscious.  He has been very accessible and responsive ever since.  As it should be, the Robert K. Jones Agency and Dan Biedenharn knows how to treat their customers when so many companies have forgotten."

"Our experience with your office has always been most pleasing, informative, and professional. We have asked several questions in the past regarding the best way to cover ourselves. You have always provided thorough answers that helped us make our decisions easier."
