Proposals for Creating a Culture of Belonging and Dare to Design Due Soon -
We have two exciting conferences coming up in early spring - Creating a Culture of Belonging (February 6-7, 2020) at Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Dallas, TX, and Dare to Design (March 12-13, 2020) at Trinity Preparatory School and Park Maitland School in Orlando, FL!

We've extended the deadlines for you based on feedback we received about the dates and the holidays - thanks for reaching out, everyone!

Creating a Culture of Belonging is a PK-12 conference (formerly known as LLI Southwest!) focusing on all aspects of teaching and learning, particularly those that speak to building a positive, open culture in schools. Workshops received so far include digital literacy, mindfulness, historical thinking and empathy, and more - but we've still got space for YOUR best teaching!

Proposals are due TODAY - SUBMIT YOURS NOW!

Dare to Design is a PK-12 conference - a brand new one! - at TWO schools, showing how design thinking can lead to creative solutions, even when it comes to conference planning! Teachers who use design thinking are better equipped and empowered to engage their students, and we're seeking your ideas, tips, and resources for creating an environment where everyone dares to design! So far we have workshops on graphic design, technology, breakouts, teaching technology and design thinking to early childhood students, and many more, but we still have a little space, and would love to have you as a presenter!

Proposals are due January 15, 2020 - EXTENDED FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

A Note from the Assistant Director
Happy December!

I cannot believe that we are almost to 2020! This year has been amazing and while it may have had some challenges, it has been full of growth, community, and collaboration. We hope you have had a spectacular year and we can't wait to see what the next decade holds.

It was so great to see all of the wonderful teachers and administrators at Innovation in Action earlier this month.  George Couros inspired teachers once again with his powerful keynote and breakout sessions.I would especially like to thank the students, teachers, and administration at Madison-Ridgeland Academy! I have never seen so welcoming a community!

We thank everyone who has been a part of our journey! We look forward to all the new year brings, including four more conferences already scheduled!

Thank you for all you do!
