John Nienstedt Talks Super Tuesday on Fox Nation with Kristin Soltis Anderson

John Nienstedt, President of Competitive Edge, made a March 4th appearance for the “What are the Odds?” segment hosted by his friend and pollster, Kristin Soltis Anderson. They discussed the Super Tuesday contests, with special attention on the then-upcoming Michigan Democratic Primary. John emphasized that Michigan would be a “do or die moment” for Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. That proved true, as Sanders was unable to rise to the occasion, and Biden is now the presumptive Democratic nominee.

John is always available for media interviews. Please e-mail if you would like to book him.

Video Proof: CERC Dial-testing of Padres Fan Preferences Brings Back the Brown

CERC Dial-Testing Research was conducted with models at Petco Park
We often get asked about our role with the San Diego Padres, having provided the team with market research since 2008. Most recently, CERC helped the Padres determine the new color and look of their team uniforms. By employing a sophisticated process that included our use of the Perception Analyzer dial-testing system, we accurately measured fan response to different uniform choices absent biases that can otherwise creep into traditional focus groups. In fact, this dial-testing research was featured by Fox Sports San Diego in their new video spotlighting the Padres “Brown is Back” marketing campaign.

Have a look at the 5:01 mark to see CERC dial-testing in action!

CERC's John Nienstedt Speaks to the La Jolla Rotary Club

John Nienstedt spoke to the La Jolla Rotary Club on March 10th about what a pollster REALLY does. As regular readers of The Edge know, it’s not all about numbers.
Nienstedt also dove into how CERC's research has helped our clients, such as the Crossborder Air Terminal (CBX) and the Padres make money. Rotarians were taken “behind the scenes” to get a glimpse of how million-dollar decisions are made using sound research.
Given the timing of the speech, John naturally touched on unfolding political events and how the coronavirus outbreak could affect President Trump’s re-election chances versus Vice President Biden. The talk was well-received by a group of 30+ Rotarians while rain fell on the La Valencia hotel’s tin roof.
