New HSAS & SAHO Collective Agreement

HSAS is awaiting the printer's proof from SAHO. Once the proof has been approved, the HSAS & SAHO Collective Agreement for April 1, 2013 - March 31, 2018 will be printed and mailed to all members.

Your Questions Answered - 
Each year at this time, our Labour Relations Officers receive many questions about carrying over accrued vacation hours. HSAS provides a description of how many vacation credits you are entitled to carry-over for usage next year. We also provide answers to questions regarding use of seniority, what to do when you are asked for your vacation plan and more.

Seniority Lists
Health regions are required to post the seniority lists in a place accessible to all Employees by February 1, 2016. You have 30 days from the date of posting to appeal your seniority hours from the last 12 months as stated on the list.

If you don't know where your list gets posted, please check with your manager. If your seniority number appears to be incorrect, please inform your manager.  If you are unable to get the issue resolved with your manager, please contact

The first of two Education Fund draws for 2016 was held on January 15. Out of the applications received for the fund there were 20 names drawn.
