Dear City Sessions Community,
While I write to you all today, I am reminded about how blessed I am for this amazing community. Over the past couple of months, I have heard from dozens of City Sessions patrons and I want to thank you all for reminding me that yes, we do remember our great experiences in life and the connections we have forged. As you all have probably guessed, tours have been postponed since March 15th. The city of Denver is starting to loosen restrictions and we are monitoring the situation closely. We hope to reconvene with offering tours on June 1st, with new procedures in place to keep both patrons and facility workers safe. I feel confident that we will not miss a beat in creating a truly memorable and educational experience for all.
If you did not know, I am the queen of adapting. Since starting City Sessions in May of 2014, I have Ipivoted and evolved this model to best suit the business and the patrons. This pandemic has vastly changed the trajectory of what we were setting out to accomplish this year. This year we had intended on hosting in-house free education sessions in our new space located in the RiNo Art District. We are still hosting these sessions twice a month, but virtually instead. What is great about this move to virtual is that now people from all over the country and world can tune and get educated. If you know someone who is interested in learning how to incorporate cannabis into their lives, pass along the zoom link and tune in on Thursday, May 14th at 7pm MST. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/7202508828
The 7th edition of the City Sessions Guidebook has arrived, and we have stellar brands that make up the community this year. Because of the nature of the world, we are making our participating dispensary coupons available on our Instagram highlights @CitySessionsDenver and will be working on a strategy to get the book into the hands of locals and patrons alike in the upcoming weeks/months. To best support our partners during this time we have switched gears and started a live morning show called THE MORNING SESH. Initially, we went live every morning at 10am MST on Instagram, moving forward we will be going live on Friday mornings at 10am MST. In these segments, Clayton and I bring forward a featured brand of the day, a cannabis topic, and end each segment on a high note with a song to lift spirits and get you moving. For past segments check out YouTube, Facebook, or IGTV.
In addition, I have started a new blog series that can be found in LOCAL SESSIONS that brings forward the City Sessions community and why I have given these brands the City Sessions Seal of Approval. Kicking off the series is The Herbal Cure dispensary. A staple here in the Colorado market and a favorite for locals and tourists alike. As the cannabis community forges on, in the upcoming weeks kicks off The Grow Off, a blind growing competition for licensed and home growers. Our partners at The Herbal Cure are the genetic suppliers of The Grow Off and have some amazing innovations happening internally within their company. To learn more about this exceptional operation and how they have withstood the test of time check out The Herbal Cure Receives the Seal of Approval!
Again, I want to thank you all for your continued support and love. I am thinking of you all during this time and as always want to encourage you to reach out with any questions you have about cannabis or just to say hi! Be good and stay safe.
