Start the New Year right with
the Goodhue County Historical Society!

On Saturday, January 7th, visit the museum for the first Free Family Fun Day of 2017. Bestselling author and Red Wing native Jacqueline West will lead a special kids' activity at 1 PM, and other activities will be available throughout the day.

Of course, all of the museum's exhibits will be open free of charge from 12-3 PM. Make sure to check out New Land, New Life, a brand-new temporary exhibit celebrating the journey of Norwegian Immigrants to Minnesota during the 29th century. Special crafts and treats commemorating the exhibit opening will be offered as well.

Admission is free, and visitors are encouraged to bring the entire family.

Jacqueline West is the author of the New York Times Bestselling series "The Books of Elsewhere." These young adult adventure novels take readers on a journey within their own imagination.

Don't miss Jacqueline West at the Goodhue County History Center on January 7th.
