Here's What's on My PM Wishlist
Welcome to a special evening edition of DPM(ish) on this Black Friday. With the winter holidays upon us and Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday/Yikes-Have-I-Missed-Anything-Days all descending, my inbox is overloaded with desperate calls to action to get me to purchase anything and everything gift-related.
I thought it'd be fun to compile a hopeful wishlist of all of the things I want as a project manger this year—some fun, some realistic, and some just downright wishful thinking ;). Enjoy!
A t-shirt we can all appreciate and/or run from:
This Scope Creepers t-shirt from Cotton Bureau is part of the "Design Gangs" line from illustrator Matt Stevens and makes me giggle every time I see it. Get a set to outfit your PM team as you go into your next project meeting, or snag one for yourself to secretly wear on the other end of tough client check-ins. I don't get paid anything to say this, I just really like this design and already own the sweatshirt!
Ships internationally, prices vary by shirt style.

Truth-telling nameplates

These desk nameplates are hilarious, to-the-point, and painfully true at times. I get a kick out of these every time I see them, and there are several that'd make a perfect addition to any project manager's desk (from the ones pictured here to those that read "I'm pretty sure I have no idea" and "This meeting is bullsh*t").
US-only shipping, $28.
