It’s been a wild Spring market, and for summer, it is still very competitive out there - we continue to see strong competition for homes that are priced right for today’s market. REBGV's President says, “It’s important to remember that real estate is hyper-local, particularly in a seller’s market. This means that conditions and prices vary depending on property type, neighbourhood, and other factors." This is very true on the North Shore. Good family homes are hard to come by and once up for sale, are typically selling in a week or so. The market with best advantages for buyers is the apartment market – while sales are up about 22% over last year, prices have been relatively stable, especially in the re-sale market. The good news for Buyers is that summer tends to slow things down a little. So, if you stay on your search and are patient, you may find the opportunity you are looking for. Sellers looking to capture “best market timing” should be listing soon, or waiting for Labor Day when folks are back to their regular routine post summer vacation.

BC Bike Race: June 27, 2015 – July 5, 2015
We are proud community partners with the BC Bike Race – and as they say on their website, “it’s far more than a race. BC Bike Race is an adventure and an experience. It’s a tour of British Columbia’s West Coast – the trails, the towns, the lifestyle. In North Van, we had the pleasure of sending the riders from many different countries off on Day 0 (June 27, 2015) and welcoming them back on Day 5 (July 2) in Lynn Valley at our "watering hole" at the top of Mountain Hwy. The riders braved 33 degrees and some killer trails!
