For the 12th consecutive year the Korean government EPIK Program has selected GoldKey Education Pty Ltd as a partner agency to find suitable candidates to come and teach Conversational English in the Korean public schools. 

We are now open to receive your application for the Fall (Aug) 2019 EPIK Intake.

Where is South Korea?
At just over 100,000km
² in size the small nation of the Republic of Korea is found half-way between Beijing & Tokyo. Her 52 million citizens have built the 13th largest economy on earth in just one generation stunning economists the world over with their dedication and work ethic that has come to dominate world trade. 

Since 1995 the Korean Education Ministry has actively sought out English speaking university graduates from 7 designated nations to come and teach Conversational English in their public schools. With one of the world's most successful education systems this is a lifetime opportunity to live and work in a "Tiger Economy" and experience first hand the energy and drive of the Korean people and learn how they achieved so much in such a short time.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must be a citizen of one of the 7 designated countries (look for your flag above) and have attended English medium schools from at least Grade 7 in any of these countries or at an accredited International School and graduated university (bachelors degree) in one of these countries. Additionally you must be energetic, have a passion for working with children, have a clear background check and no chronic medical conditions.

Contracts offered are standard Korean Govt. public school contracts which include:
- A signed government contract & government sponsored work visa before you fly
- An annual Travel Allowance (KRW2,6m per annum split into 2 payments)
- Once-off Settlement Allowance on first contract (KRW300,000)
- Tax Free Salary ranging from KRW2m to KRW2,7m 
- A 13th bonus salary on completion of each 12 month contract
- A private, fully furnished, rent free apartment
- National Health Insurance
- Generous Bi-Annual vacations + 2 quarterly breaks

Working Hours are Mon-Fri office hours (8hrs a day) You will teach Conversational English in conjunction with your Korean co-teacher for 22 contact teaching hours per week.
Weekends and all public holidays are free days. You will enjoy a summer and winter vacation and 2 smaller breaks at the end of the 1st and 3rd semester.  As you will have a multiple entry visa given to you when you arrive you are free to travel anywhere in the world during vacation time.

How To Apply : Step By Step
Candidates applying to teach Conversational English in Korea will need to submit an Initial Document Set of application documents by email to secure a preliminary interview.

Please do not send any physical documents to us until we specifically ask you to. Each item listed above must be submitted by email. The Application Form as a saved PDF file and the rest as scans of each item. You can submit each item as soon as you get it. We will collate them for you.

Step 10: Work Visa Documents
As soon as you have put together and submitted the Initial Document Set by email please start to assemble your Work Visa Documents while we arrange your Skype interview. While you do not need these to secure the official interview it is important that these documents are ready for submission by courier by the time you do your formal interview with the Korean Government.Every intake there are a dozen candidate who pass the interview but end up on the Standby List because they too too long to assemble the Work Visa Documents.

The Work Visa Documents:
- Original National Background Check with Apostille
- Two sets of Sealed Academic Records
- Copy of Degree Certificate with Apostille

The full document set (items 1 through 9) will need to be sent in to GoldKey Education by courier for a final check before they are handed over to the Korean Government as soon as they announce you have passed your formal interview and have been offered a contract. On receipt your contract can be printed  your E2 Working Visa initiated. You will then secure the 1 year working visa from your local Korean Embassy under the guidance of GoldKey Education and book your flight to Korea.
