Three City Halls in 100 years
Museum News
You are invited to attend a workshop, which will help us determine the goals for the Sunnyvale Historical Society for the next ten years.
Saturday, January 21st, 9am to 2pm, in the upstairs meeting room at the museum. Please mark it on your calendar.
What is it and who should attend/participate?
It's a workshop for everyone who is interested in the museum to come together in order to generate ideas for the future of the organization. We are working with a professional mediator to plan the workshop and its interactive exercises. One of the main topics we will ask and discuss is: What Should the SHSMA be doing to move us forward over the coming decade?
The goal is to stimulate project ideas and goals for us as a historical society, and to help us formulate a plan for the next ten years. Board member participation is strongly encouraged, of course, but it is important that volunteers and members of the SHSMA come and be a part of the discussion as well. Your experience and knowledge is an asset, and we want to hear from you through your participation. We will break for lunch and event organizers are coordinating a potluck.
Join other members and friends of the museum and participate! It will be a great opportunity to remind us all why we donate our valuable time and energy to this organization, and help us define some shared goals for the future of the SHS.
