February General Meeting

Monday, Feb. 9, 7:30PM

Save the date for our February General Meeting being held on Monday, February 9th at the museum starting at 7:30PM.  We have scheduled an outstanding speaker—Mark Hylkema. Mark has more than 34 years experience teaching California archaeology and Native American culture.

The main topic of the evening will be the Castroville Mammoth Excavation.  Mark has directed excavations throughout the greater San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas and teaches Anthropology at Foothill College.  Mark is also the third of four generations of Sunnyvale residents and knows the local pre-history and early colonial history very well. So come prepared to learn a lot from Mark and share in his varied excavation, research and teaching histories of not only Sunnyvale, but the entire San Francisco Bay Area.

It should be an interesting evening, we hope to see you there!
Holiday Teas

Thanks to everyone who attended our 2014 Holiday Teas.  All of our attendees had a festive time over the two weekends of the event.

We want to especially thank all of the volunteers (both in front and behind the scenes) who helped make this special event run so smoothly.

If you missed attending this event, keep watching for the announcement of our
Spring Teas that are scheduled for the end of April and the beginning of May.
