We've got several interesting and entertaining events coming up at the museum this summer!

Monday, June 20th - Presentation on Onizuka Air Force Base
Speaker Joseph Page II published a book on the history of Onizuka Air Force Base, which was used as satellite monitoring center, among other things.

The event will be filmed and made available on our YouTube channel if you are unable to attend.

Saturday, July 16th - Museum Yard Sale - Vintage and Everyday Treasures
Once again, we'll be setting up tables outdoors in the area in front of the museum, to display vintage and everyday items for sale. Funds raised go directly to help pay for museum maintenance.

For the Yard Sale on Saturday, July 16 th we will need to borrow 6 and 8 foot tables. We will need these to arrive at the museum on Thursday July 14th or Friday, July 15th. We do not have space to store these prior to these dates. Please notify Kim Thurgate if you will bring us a table to use.

Saturday, September 10th - "A Walk Through Time"
A free "living history" event. Learn about the different groups of people who called this area home and discover how innovators transformed Sunnyvale from an agricultural to a technological community.

10 lb barbell plate weights
Do you have any 10lb barbell plate weights? We need these to weigh down the signposts that the museum uses at events. The center hole needs to be 1 – 2”. A smaller center hole will not work. We need these for our upcoming events. If you have any of these to donate or loan, please contact Dixie Larsen
