Cartoon Bites and Book Bites is the way we use cartoons and sound to work together to create cartoons as a language. Video's created by The Australian Cartoon Museum, showcase work from Australian cartoonists. Cartoons used in the video's are an important historical record of public opinions of the day. And also promote the work of the pioneer cartoonists and artists and those who followed, up to the present day.
Our goal is to make the videos the starting point for interesting discussions or ideas. The ACM has over 3 million cartoons which we use to tell visual stories in exhibitions and documentaries (not just relegating them to a mere footnote in dusty old history books) this is what we call the Cartoon Revolution!
Every dollar you give goes into making the videos a better resource and will help us create a future where cartoonists can be used to help teach history, politics and current affairs - VISUALLY - to everyone from preschoolers to professors.
A future where cartoonists can help people release their imagination and creativity to help forge new communication tools for business, education and personal potential.
A future where everyone who loves cartoons as much as we do, can watch and learn to draw from the masters of cartoons.
We want to make this channel a place where we can all learn to become better cartoon viewers.
