Explore the MTBoS Begins Today!

During the next 8 weeks, there will not be separate MS Sunday Funday blog posts.  Instead I would like to encourage each of you to participate in the MTBoS missions!  It is going to be an amazing journey, and I hope that you will all join me on it!

Middle School Math Chats (#msMathChat) Monday nights at 9PM EST

The weekly Middle School Math Chats (#msMathChat) are every Monday night.  If you can't come, don't worry, we are archiving the talks for you to be able to read at your leisure.

Has Arrived!

The updated version of the Math Blogger Initiation that happened last year has begun! We were crazy surprised by how many people were interested in joining up and trying something new — blogging with other math teachers! This year, we are planning to have a slightly different program for people to join called EXPLORING THE MATHTWITTERBLOGOSPHERE.  The sign up is NOW.  So don't delay!  Run over the http://exploremtbos.wordpress.com to sign up today!

We’re designing it to help those who are either just starting out with the mathtwitterblogosphere and for those who have dipped their toes in and want to get even more involved.  Or even if you have dropped off the face of the virtual planet and want to join back in!

Join us on this exciting adventure!  Meet new friends!  Get tons of new ideas!

Global Math Department

Join the Global Math Department Tuesday at 9PM EST.

We are math teachers who share what we've learned, cause we don't want our classes to suck the energy from students. Professional development among friends, not just colleagues. Fun! Immediately useful! Interesting!

I teach 6th grade math and 7th grade pre-algebra at Woodlawn School.

I write the blog, I Speak Math.  My goal is to connect math teachers so that we can all learn from each other's ideas!
