The FWCBD Receives a Certificate of Honor from the City of San Francisco

Recognizing and honoring the FWCBD on the occasion of our 10th Anniversary

"On Behalf of the City and County of San Francisco, I am pleased to recognize and honor the Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District (FWCBD) on the occasion of their Special 10th anniversary. As a top destination in San Francisco, Fisherman's Wharf supports over 8,000 jobs for San Francisco Bay Area residents. The efforts of FWCBD's Board of Directors, staff members, committee and district members have successfully brought together our community to create solutions. Their services have invested millions of dollars into the Fisherman's Wharf area -- a commendable achievement that represents our City's Values at their best. Their dedication has positively impacted the vitality of our CIty and will benefit generations of visitors and residents to come.
Congratulations on a decade of service and best of luck in all your future endeavors!"

Park Revitalization: Joseph Conrad Square (Conrad Park)
Participate in Community Engagement Meetings

The Fisherman's Wharf Community Benefit District has been working, since 2009, to find solutions for curbing illegal activity in the park and for revitalizing the park with innovative and engaging elements.

Two community meetings will be held to introduce and review the project. Join us at the community engagement meetings to provide feedback on design elements that beautify the park and improve park safety.

The Wharf By the Numbers
People Counting Devices Track Wharf Footfall

Each month we share our pedestrian counts for the previous month and previous year. Footfall for May 2016 is very similar to May 2015. This year. we observe a slight decrease of 0.4% over last year.

FISHERMAN'S WHARF FOOTFALL     May 2015   May 2016
JEFFERSON AT BAY COMPANY    331,484    354,192
JEFFERSON AT BOUDINS  508,667    491,360
JEFFERSON AT WAX MUSEUM  470,471    438,526
JEFFERSON AT CASTAGNOLA'S  452,526    471,978

Stay tuned for more annual comparisons. The FWCBD is using footfall data to help provide valuable information to the City to help advocate for more services for local property owners, merchants and visitors.
