Autumnal greetings, fam!

How are you? I'm taking a quick dip into your inbox today with three things that refreshed me this week.

xo, avw

Side note: what refreshed you? I'd love to hear. <3

'Tis the season in the best possible way.

For almost a year now I volunteer my administrative office and spreadsheet skillz weekly at Compass Family Services. It’s an awesome organization that helps families in the Bay Area facing homelessness. Super important stuff.

They just kicked-off their annual Adopt-a-Family gift-giving program for the holidays. You sign up and they match you with a family. You get their wishlist and purchase them things like grocery and retail gift cards for adults, and toys for kids. There’s a drop-off where Compass collects the gifts, and another where the families come get the presents. It's a lovely exchange of community support energy, especially if you have the means.

You can sign up as individually or a company/department can collectively sponsor a family together. Email me if you have questions about how it works!

Poet has baby.

I just love this poem. (It’s parent-centric, but still totally works.)

Get up!

This is pretty much my wake-up and get-dressed ideal--dressing method, clothes, color scheme, and music included.
I'm grateful for this air, this earth, for water, and for fire.

If you know someone who would enjoy something on here, forward it to them.

Thank you so much, cowpoke.
