Eko works mostly on small scale projects such as private houses, art galleries and community facilities. Enhancing locality is the design strategy he uses to integrate architecture with the social, cultural and environmental context.

Gold Medal Tour

Phil Harris and Adrian Welke, co-founders of Troppo, have been awarded the 2014 Gold Medal at the Australian Achievement in Architecture Awards.

The Gold Medal tour kicked off in June in Darwin and will travel around the country throughout September and October.

Following the success of Spirit of Place held in Cairns, Sept 2013, the Institute announces a second Qld Regional Conference planned to take place in 2015. The appointed Creative Director will be responsible for the conceptualisation and execution of the 2015 conference.
