Final Reminder: EOI National Committee for Gender Equity

The committee is now entering its second term and is seeking Expressions of Interest from Institute members in ACT, SA, TAS, NT, QLD and Vic. The committee meets quarterly via teleconference with one face-to-face meeting a year, scheduled Thu 28 Apr in Adelaide, coinciding with the National Architecture Conference.

Riversdale Time for Drawing at the Arthur Boyd Education Centre - 22-25 Apr

In honour of Juhani Pallasmaa and his current 2016 Droga Residency, the Riversdale Time for Drawing studio will focus on the sense of touch in reference to his Australian lecture series. The program aims to develop sensory awareness through integration of drawing, somatic movement and mindfulness and is supported by the growing list of Juhani Pallasmaa books which advocate the need for sensory intelligence training in architectural education and practice.
