Making tracks for Perth
I hope you had a good break over the Easter long weekend.
For us at the Institute, thoughts now turn to the National Architecture Conference. In a little over two weeks, Perth will come alive with an architecture festival like no other.
For the first time since the ‘90s, the conference is heading west. Whether you’ve never been to Perth or whether you live there – this is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the architecture and design of this great city – and beyond.

Seminar series presenter profile - Bill Reed

Bill Reed is an internationally recognised proponent and practitioner of sustainability. He is president of the Integrative Design Collaborative, a consulting organisation working to evolve green building design practice into an approach that is fully integrated with living systems. Bill will be in Australia, presenting 'The integrative Design Process' in May. For more information visit our CPD events page.

Making 2014 - Making: Children!

8-10 May, Perth
We are thrilled to announce that Making: 2104 is introducing a kids' program: 
Making: Children.
For children under five there will be a creche available on site. For those over five there will be a design workshop that will be held over two days allowing children to engage with the process of design.  

So, while you enjoy all the conference has to offer, you can relax knowing the kids will be taken care of ... and having a great time too!

Gold Medal tour

Phil Harris and Adrian Welke, co-founders of Troppo, have been awarded the 2014 Gold Medal at the Australian Achievement in Architecture Awards.
