From the CEO


It has been three weeks since I commenced in the role of CEO and already it has been an inspiring journey. Beginning at the Annual General Meeting in Melbourne on 13 May where I was fortunate enough to witness first-hand the engagement and passion of members either by attending in person or through proxy submissions and having their say on the matters affecting the organisation.

Minutes from the AGM

The Institute's 87th Annual General Meeting was held at 41X in Melbourne on Friday 13 May 2016. The proposed governance changes as outlined in the Notice of the AGM were passed and will come into effect on 22 August 2016.

2016 Annual Wage review increase announced

The Minimum Wage Panel of the Fair Work Commission (FWC) has announced that a 2.4% increase to minimum wages will come into effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July. All employers should check current employee rates of pay and conditions to ensure they are not below minimum wage obligations.
