This is my last e-news column as National President before I hand over the reins to Ken Maher. While my tenure has involved a range of challenges it has also been a very rewarding experience and clearly the most enjoyable aspect has been the regular opportunity to meet and work with a huge number of members who are committed to volunteering their time in support of our profession.

Visit the EmAGN exhibition at DesignBUILD

The Institute exhibition at this year’s DesignBUILD in Melbourne will feature works from 15 emerging architectural practices. The exhibition will present a group of built works that make the most of opportunities within a project to create inspired designs displaying ingenuity, economy, and durability.

The exhibition is located next to the Central Hub, on the show floor. Entry is free.

The Institute has curated a Speaker Series at DesignBUILD this year, addressing some of the key challenges that affect architects.
