DC Action will be closed the week of August 16th to give our staff a chance to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate.  

This has been an extraordinarily difficult 18 months for kids, youth and families in the District and the programs they rely on. Alongside you, and thousands of DC residents, our collective action coalitions are proud to have secured more than $3.5 billion in critical and targeted investments this budget session to address housing instability, learning loss, social-emotional needs, health and safety, and more than $60 million for child care. These investments will go a long way toward an equitable recovery for our kids and youth. Let’s celebrate, rest, and then get back to work with even more vigor. 

We’ll see you on Monday, August 23rd when our office reopens.
