Summer Extra Tea Time run

While the beginners groups are in operating Glenn offers a Wednesday evening homework session - well during August Glenn will continue to go ahead with these at 6.00pm run on Wednesdays till the end of August, meet at the barriers to David Lloyd

It will be suitable for all.  Expect the session to last up to about 40-45 minutes depending on what we do, where we go and who turns up.
Starts next Wednesday 29 July.

Summer Holiday helping each other

Nikki has come up with an idea for those struggling to make the daytime runs - this would be an arrangement between yourselves and the club will have no involvement or responsibility
Now the summer holidays are upon us, I'm going to find it difficult to get my daytime runs in. I was thinking that if a few of us mums/dads did a sort of childcare arrangement to enable us all to run at some point.
Daytime runs are on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. So my idea is, for example, I would take the children over to the park at Willen Lake/Campbell park whilst you go for the club run and in doing this, the favour is then returned.
We have discussed and basically, these are the rules
* Redway Runners are not liable in any way for this arrangement;
* You can only use the childcare facility if you are willing to take a turn also;
* This is not an ongoing arrangement (summer holidays only); and
* Drop off and pick up is immediately before and after each run.
As a mother, I know it's difficult to arrange childcare for these things, this way, the cost is kept to nothing and you know your child is being looked after by a friend".
If this is something you would be interested in, please contact me
