Held the first timed 10K training run at Caldecotte Lake on Sunday as the Sunday club run with everyone doing the 1.75 lops of the lake - we had 62 taking part, which included many of our 'Zero to Hero' programme reaching the second milestone of running the 10K (next stop the half in December). Well dome all that ran and thanks to all the volunteers who allow this to happen.
Seemed very popular event so will be aiming to hold it again at a leer date

Copenhagen Half 2015
Helen Blucher-Altona, her sister, Ann, and Riitta Wood ran the Copenhagen Half marathon on 13 September.
The photo below is after they finished (in the pouring rain!). Helen said 'I thought I'd send it to you if you wanted to include it in the newsletter. I know there's an awful lot of us now all doing different events, but very much inspired by the club! The Redway Runners 2015 MK marathon feature and photo was in the distance running magazine that was in our race pack so that was a nice surprise and good to see news of the club spreading far and wide!'
Well done Helen, Ann and Riitta for spreading the word yourselves
All the best to Stella from the club, who gets married on Friday 25 September - all the best from Redway Runners
Worlds biggest coffee morning and a run

Thanks all and we managed to raise £170
Ladies club tee
Following some comments on the ladies club tee which we launched a while back we have decided to switch the type we are using from the 'AWDis' brand to the 'Fruit of the Loom' brand - the new brand is longer in the length and has a round neck.
As shown in the picture (this is a medium shirt and of course comes with the club logos) - all clothing can be ordered from this page:
One week on from telling you about this, we have now agreed the rough design for the medal for the Redway Runners festival of running next year (will be revealing all soon). Also the entries are coming in - so do not forget to get yours done soon rather than later - do not want to miss out

To make it work we are going to need some people to come forward that are willing to look after a pace group and then try and stick to that pace.
