Video shoot

This sounds like a bit of fun - anyone available
We am setting up a bootcamp business - RockSolid Fit - and we are having a video shoot on Sat 28 Feb at Willen Lake at 11.00. We need as many people there as possible to fill it out for the shots.  All people really have to do is simply turn up, and get trained, for 2 hours, for free.
In return, people will get a free RockSolid T Shirt, a really good workout, lots of laughs and feature in our promotional video!

Running for the County

Congratulations to Jamie Farmer from the club, following his impressive performances for the club at the Cross Country series, he has been selected to run for the County in the Inter Counties Cross Country in Birmingham. The race is on Saturday 7 March and starts at 2:36pm at Cofton Park.

There is also the British Athletics World Trials and the Cross Challenge Final on that day as well so it'll be a tough field!!

Good luck Jamie - anyone in the area go along and give him a cheer

Run the Great North Run

Been asked by Joey in the club to put out an appeal to see if anyone can help, more below -- Joey's boss's son has a condition called FOP also known as Stone man syndrome which is a rare genetic condition which causes muscles and tendons to turn into bone. The charity that supports families with this condition has some places available for the Great North Run and she was wondering if anybody would be interested. Runners would need to wear the charity's Tshirt and do some fundraising. If anybody is interested, please could they contact Joeys so she can let her boss know (or contact Martin and can pass on your details)

Charity Gig

Roger from the club is holding a Charity Gig' on Friday 27 March at Emerson Valley Sports Pavilion.
He is holding this event to help raise funds in support of his London Marathon fundraising for a lovely small charity, Niemman Pick UK that is helping children with Niemann Pick Disease also known Childhood Dementia' and 3 lovely young kids Hollie, Zayn and Joshua here in MK have this out of a total of 112 in the UK.

Be great is lots of our lovely runners would go and have a Great social night whilst helping to raise funds for a lovely charity.

Congratulation to club member David Airey on the birth of his son, Dominic he weighed 8lbs 9oz on Tuesday, congratulations from all at Redway Runners.
