Update; 18 February 2016

Flitton Potato Race

For the last couple of years a group of Redway Runners have taken part in this fairly local event and really enjoyed it. So if you are looking for a new challenge, then this must be it and to make it easier the club Sunday run on the 19 June, will be from Marston Forrest centre, meaning you could do the Sunday run first then make the short trip to Flitton, for the only race of its kind in the country. Take the opportunity to run, walk or stagger a just a mile from Greenfield to The White Hart.
Choose your weight - 20, 10, 5 or 2kg of potatoes for individuals, depending on age. For children and toddlers there are spud and spoon races, Tatties In A Bucket and Design A Potato Head competitions! Plus this year there will be a Father's Day Challenge - A Test Of Strength!
Prizes and trophies, plus medals for all! Timings are approx midday to 13:00

Come on lets have a big green attendance this year again and of course a drink in the pub at the finish line - entries at:

Monday Morning Step Up - Experiment

Step Up is clearly a worry for some people. But it is designed to be the next group after many do the beginners groups.

As a way to ease everyone in, We will try a 30 minute "drop out" option. This means that we will run a really gentle loop back pace for 25-30 minutes returning to David Lloyd. It will be suitable for any runner, we will avoid the hills and anywhere too exposed if the wind is doing its thing.

This run meets at David Lloyd reception at 9.30 and led by Doug

Club Sunday run - 20 March

We have moved the start of the club Sunday run on the 20 March to Kingston, still at 9.00 as we have been invited to run from the NutriCentre store, at the start of the run and at the end they will have people available to give advice on nutrition they will hopefully have some freebies for us to use on the run that day (guess gels). so try to come along.

All the Sunday runs info at:
