Ever thought about trying something other than running but don’t know where to start?
Well Redway Runners Multisport needs you!
We are holding a fun and informal evening to find out what you fancy doing, what are your goals? Answer any questions you may have, all in the hope that we can help guide you on to something different and in return you help us ensure that Redway Runners Multisport can offer you something that is (guess what) useful to you!
This initial meeting (yes there will be more if there is interest) is being held on 25 October at 19:00 in the Henman Room at David Lloyd Gym.
The meeting will be restricted to 25, so we have time to answer all questions as well as letting you guys know what our ideas are for next year. Please let Burti know if you can attend at; firstname.lastname@example.org

Also at the weekend we had our first ever Redway Runners team at the South of England Championships at Bedford Autodrome. Great performance from the team.
44th out of 72 teams overall in 2:04:47. We all ran a 6k lap (came up short on garmins). Very competitive race including Olympian + European medalist over 5000+10000 metres Andy Vernon.
Genci took off first and set a phenomenal pace before passing over to Ben who set an equally quick pace. Adrian took off knowing that other teams with huge strength in depth would be chasing him down before passing to Martyn.
Martyn set off like a rocket and exceeded his own expectation before passing over to a nervous but excited James, who consolidated our position and got round the corner to see we hadn't made the time limit so Paul was being set off on a mass start!
Paul led it out before kicking away from the gentleman who kindly followed him around shielding from the wind. Immense efforts by everyone in our inaugural south of England race!
Well organised but had tough conditions against them but brilliant team effort made the day a great success! Hopefully we can improve on this and get some more teams out in the future and improve on our competitive debut!

Just to let you know we have had confirmation from England Athletics that the UKA fees for 2017/2018 will be increasing to £14 (from £13 currently).
Although we have not confirmed the club fee for the next club year - we think the fees will probably be £5 for club membership and £14 if you opt for UKA registration so £19 in total for next years membership.
