MEET THE WONDERPUSS

An amazingly beautiful species of octopus and a favorite critter for muck-diving underwater photographers.
Two theories have been proposed to explain why the wonderpus octopus developed its dramatic and conspicuous appearance. One theory suggests that the octopus is mimicking dangerous banded animals like sea snakes and lionfish as a form of protection against predators. Another theory says .....

Pack Your Bag - ARUBA

Aruba is famous for the spectacular shipwrecks and interesting coral formations that dominate its underwater realm. Most of Aruba’s dive sites lie along the protected western and southern coasts, a short distance from the hotels on Palm Beach. A large, shallow sand plateau surrounds Aruba making boat travel the most convenient method of reaching the off-shore reefs. Interesting coral formations are found from shallow water depths of 20 to 100 feet, with little or no current and flat surface conditions.

Kungkungan Bay Resort - PIONEERS OF CRITTER / MUCK DIVING

KBR to its friends and soon to be friends is proud to be the resort that introduced the world to the now famous Lembeh Strait, Indonesia.

Acknowledged as the #1 destination in the world for Critter / Muck Diving. KBR was the original resort in the Lembeh Strait and was the first resort in the dive industry to use “Muck Diving” as our main diving attraction.

We do it better, and have done it longer than anyone.   MORE ON KBR

100 YEARS Of History In ONE DIVE – GUAM

On April 7,1917 German cruiser SMS Comorran II was scuttled in Guam’s Apra Harbor during WW1.  On August 27, 1943 the Japanese Freighter Tokai Maru was torpedoed during WWII.  Just happened that the Tokai Maru was moored over the wreck of the Comorran.

This is reputedly the only dive site in the world where wrecks from both world wars share the same site.
