Pack Your Bags – Chuuk (Truk), Micronesia

A major WWII battle left the lagoon floor littered with WWII Japanese freight and armed military ships during Operation Hailstorm. Decades later, they have become natural reefs, adorned in coral with homes for fish but with all of the war artifacts still aboard. They are fascinating sites to visit and most are shallow enough for all experience levels of divers. The ships are now thickly overgrown reefs with over 700 fish species and nearly 400 corals plus numerous invertebrates.

Diving The Great Blue Hole Of Belize

SCUBA divers from around the world recognize the iconic photos of the Blue Hole in Belize, a “bucket list” dive for experienced and novice divers alike.

The Great Blue Hole, as it is often called, is part of the Lighthouse Reef and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will see amazing limestone formations of stalagmites and stalactites, haunting and worth the trip in themselves. You may also swim with a variety of sharks, giant groupers and other pelagic species

How to Take Great Vacation Photos on Your Dive Trips

You could lose the souvenirs you buy when you go on vacation, but the pictures you take from your trips will last forever. “Travel pictures instantly transport you back to those destinations and evoke the good times you had,” . says travel photographer Natalie Amrossi

Fear not, inexperienced photographers — you can take great pictures even if you’re not a pro.
Here, Ms. Amrossi tells you HOW

by mkn  This trip was fantastic! I was not a photographer to start, but sat in on the seminars. The group was a mix of seasoned, beginner and professional underwater photographers. Near the end, I even borrowed a camera, filled a memory card with shots, and ended up with a few that are gorgeous on my wall! If you are curious on photography, a seasoned pro or just want to dive (and have people take pictures of you for memories!) It is a blast.
