Jumpstart week is over. We met our goal. Just 7 days to launch!

We have ignition!

Today is the last day of Jumpstart Week,
and we have 100% of our launch budget!

We’re grateful to everyone who prayed for us, encouraged us, and gave so that we would be able to begin serving language communities in Kenya and beyond. We have a deeper understanding of 2 Corinthians 9:8, which says:

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”

We’ll be leaving for Kenya on January 12, but there are still a lot of details to take care of. We have items to purchase, family members to say farewell to, and paperwork to finish. Please pray that we won’t grow weary, and will finish our time in the U.S. in the strength and grace of the Lord.

Contributions still matter.

If you’d still like to contribute financially, your gifts still matter. Getting to Kenya is not the goal; the goal is to bring God’s Word to people in a way that resonates with them. That’s no small feat, and it will take time. Future contributions will sustain our Wycliffe ministry so that we can stay focused on Bible translation and literacy for years to come.

Thank you for mailing addresses.

We’re also grateful for everyone who sent us their mailing address. Matt and Lan Bulliner from Michigan and Mike Ferrando of Maryland are the winners of a Wycliffe cookbook or mug. If you haven’t sent us your address, we’d still love to get it so we can send you occasional paper updates.
