Volunteers plant 3,500 trees along the river

This spring the WRP is working with over 700 students and community volunteers to plant 3,500 native trees along the White River in 9 locations. Planting trees along rivers is one of the most effective and efficient ways to improve water quality, reduce erosion and flood damage, and maintain healthy fisheries. Sunday, May 12: Mother's Day tree planting

Join us for our last tree planting event in 2019 on Sunday, May 12 at 2pm at the VT Fish & Wildlife-owned floodplain in Bethel. Dress to get dirty in long pants and close-toed shoes; we'll provide gloves, shovels, trees, and light snacks. Visit our website for location and parking details!
