VYCC crew completes fall WRP projects
A Vermont Youth Conservation Corps crew helped the WRP wrap-up 2 restoration projects this month. The 7-member crew harvested and planted willow stakes and fascines at 2 sites, including the Eaton Dams Removal project site, and installed river access improvements at 3 White River Water Trail sites, including the Mill Brook Fish Passage project site in Pomfret. The 2019 White River Water Quality Report is available now on the WRP website. This report summarizes water quality data collected by WRP staff and trained volunteers at 22 sites along the White River and its tributaries during summer 2019.
