Happy World Contraception Day!

Did you know that 60% of girls ages 15-19 in developing countries have an unmet need for modern contraception? Kizanne James and Khadija Sinanan, two World Contraception Day Ambassadors and Women Deliver Young Leaders from Trinidad and Tobago, are working to change that.

Watch the video to learn about Kizanne's and Khadija's stories.

The World Contraception Day Ambassadors Project - a partnership between Women Deliver and Bayer - equips young people with the skills they need to collect and share digital stories about young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights, particularly around access to contraception in their home countries.

Together Kizanne and Khadija reached over 8,000 people in their communities through their projects.

Thanks to them, we are one step closer to a world where every young person, everywhere has access to contraception. We hope their stories inspire you to take action for girls and women across the globe.
