Although The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) can be a hectic time, it is also a crucial moment for our community of advocates. UNGA offers the opportunity for civil society representatives to share their viewpoints with global leaders, for young people to take the main stage, and for everyone in the development space to equip themselves with some of the latest knowledge while making new connections necessary to drive progress.

Women Deliver will be there throughout, acting as your ears and eyes on the ground at United Nations Headquarters. We are hosting two events, co-hosting a handful more, speaking at a dozen, and participating in more than 120. In addition to joining us at the events listed below, you can follow along on Twitter at @WomenDeliver.

This year's theme, Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet, is only truly meaningful with a gender lens. We'll be there to reinforce political, financial, and programmatic investment in girls and women as central to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals -- and development and progress in general. We hope you will too!
