As we wrapped up our time at WD2019 today, we reflected on the inspiring stories we heard, the important knowledge we gained, and the solutions we shared to put us on a path toward a more gender equal world.

Throughout the week, we asked you to think about how you will use your power. Our hope is that today you feel inspired, powerful, and ready to carry this momentum forward.

Read on for highlights from a moving final day at WD2019, and let us know how you'll use your power using #ThePowerOf.

Highlights from Today

What happens when people demand change? #MeToo's Tarana Burke, Ni Una Menos' Vanina Escales, Time's Up Legal Defense Fund's Tina Tchen, Together for Yes' Ailbhe Smyth, and others talked about creating a movement, successes, challenges, and what's next.

We heard from a powerful group of young, intersectional, globally oriented feminists who are committed to, and succeeding at, changing the world. They talked about the importance of including all women, using privilege to advocate for the rights of others, and more.

Women Deliver's Katja Iversen looks toward what's next after WD2019.
