Today, we celebrate International Day of the Girl Child and recognize girls everywhere who fight for equality. The girls who speak up about their right to an education, quality health care, and the right to choose and control their own futures.
At Women Deliver, we strongly believe in the power of an individual girl to change the life of her family and her community. And the power of all girls to change the world! Evidence shows that when we invest in the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women, it creates a positive ripple effect that lifts up entire countries. That’s why investing in girls isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do.
So join the movement - Let’s make sure girls everywhere have the chance to change the world!
