Dear Friend,
My country, New Zealand, was the first in the world where women gained the right to vote. I’m proud to have served as its first elected female Prime Minister.
Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a commitment to deliver a better future for all. Promoting gender equality is a key part of achieving that vision. That’s why I’m thrilled to share with you that from 1 May, I’ll be joining Women Deliver’s Board of Directors.
I share the conviction of Women Deliver that when the world invests in girls and women, there’s a ripple effect that lifts up families, communities, and entire countries. Yet progress towards gender equality moves slowly, and sometimes goes in the wrong direction. That’s why organizations like Women Deliver, and passionate advocates like you, are vital.
As I prepare to join Women Deliver’s board, I’d love to hear from you. What drives your vision for a more gender equal world?
