West African regional WASH civil society meeting
24 - 26 January: Cotonou, Benin
Civil society representatives will join forces to strengthen francophone networks and to hold governments accountable to their water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) commitments throughout West Africa. A diverse group of francophone civil society organisations (CSO) from West Africa will participate in the workshop for structuring and reinforcing advocacy and collaboration in the region. The meeting is co-organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Non-Government Orgnisations (SPONG) of Burkina Faso and a range of other lead organisations including; Coalition Eau, the Benin Water Partnership, Eau Vive, together with the support of Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) and its CSO partners.
SWA Finance and Sector Ministers Meetings

The Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) platform will be hosting government representatives from finance, water and sanitation ministries during the World Bank meetings this coming Spring in Washington, D.C. This is an important opportunity for advocacy to engage your ministers and to influence their priorities.
