Hello everyone,

We are settling in to Term 2 and doing some great learning!

This week's Neighbourhood House Afternoon Tea was a wonderful success - we had a chat and a laugh, played some games, drank tea and ate scones with jam, muffins and cupcakes (and we learnt lots of new words too)! Check out the photos in the Good News Story or on our Facebook and Instagram!
It was all about coming together to build connections and friendships and to recognise what a fantastic community we have at GEALC. To those of you who attended, thank you for joining us. If you missed out this week, you have another chance... come along to our Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea on Thursday 26 May! L
et's enjoy a morning tea together and raise important funds for cancer research. More details below.

GEALC's Job Ready course is starting on May 26! Join for one hour a week over five weeks and get yourself ready to look for (and find)  work. Explore your skills, work on your resume, learn about how to manage an interview and much more! If you want more information, ask me, Lindy.

Throughout May, the Australian Stroke Foundation is encouraging everyone to have their blood pressure checked. Click here for more information.
